Last week in "What is in your brain?" students created 3-D models of neurons. This week, students researched psychological disorders and presented their findings.

In "Property of Gases" students explored the interactions of states of matter using liquid nitrogen. Mr. Farabaugh began by placing water in a bowl and a bit of water in a small dropper. The dropper was meant to simulate what would happen if a person placed their finger in liquid nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen was poured over the bowl of water, causing the dropper to freeze. The experiment was repeated with a bounce ball. Students correctly predicted that the ball would also freeze and shatter when throw. In another experiment, liquid nitogren was placed in a small beaker and placed in a container of water, causing the balloon on top of the beaker to expand.
